How Virtual/Online Counseling Works
Online counseling sessions are delivered through HIPAA protected online video platforms. Online therapy provides confidentiality and is regulated by the same local and federal laws as “in office” therapy. The software is easy and similar to Skype or FaceTime but more secure. Our clients quickly get used to the software and many feel Telehealth is as effective as in-person counseling. Telehealth counseling can be used anytime from the comfort of your home and is a great option for clients who have children and busy schedules.
